First impression of Denmark

The speech in the information meeting changed my impression of Denmark.

Danish are proud of their flexible labor market, which generates their ability to face the internal or external competition. If people are unemployed, they will be forced to take training courses. Skill is the most important thing in this country; therefore, their education program is up to date.

As the speaker mentioned, Denmark has open economics, and has their own monetary system and language, which is totally different from the another world dominated by the U.S. or Britain. In order to own the liberty of these perspectives, they have been training being more flexible, negotiable, and practical in dealing with the environment.

The most crucial words he said is "Danish take decisions because the future is uncertain, they have been forced to survive." Likewise, Taiwan also faces an uncertain future; but, can we find out our core competencies to develop competitive advantages as Denmark?

I still need to investigate more about the Danish culture... it's what I'm expecting~

Arrive Denmark!

Due to bad time management, I stayed up the whole night to pack my stuff which had to be shipped to Taiwan before I set out for Denmark... Thanks for Yumi and Maple's help, I can catch the train to London in the last minute!

It's very natural, when people feel tired and exhausted, they always think about the negative part. When I stepped on the earth of Denmark, I asked myself, 'why I come here alone?' I want to have more time with my dear friends rather than to know new guys just among these 6 weeks. But... I took decision already, and I can't regret. Because I haven't really experienced it!

Terrible things always come together. I went out and forgot to bring my purse, so I have to go again... It's raining but I didn't bring umbrella... (The weather is similar to Britain, and you don't know when it will rain....) Then, I went to supermarket to buy a milk. However, I only bought a drinking yogurt because I can't understand Danish!! Fortunately, I have a gorgeous residence, it's the only thing I enjoy in this moment~

Actually, I didn't see the beautiful port, and just came directly to my accommodation... so... it shouldn't be a real Demark for me... Let me explore more and then I will describe more...

Last but not least, I have already missed all my friends in the UK and Taiwan~

*'Porcelænshaven' is the name of my residence. It means a garden.

To my lovely friends in the UK

I know I shouldn't be so greedy, and I should feel satisfied about the life I have.

Not everyone can come here to study, and explore the sea of knowledge.
Not everyone is as lucky as me who meet some unique guys and have some stories.
Not everyone can do as I do, travelling to anywhere I would like to go.

I deeply appreciated my parents and family who support and provide me the opportunity to do whatever I want.
I truly appreciated my friends who help and advise me when I feel confused or can't make decisions.
I really want to say thank you to people who accompany me wheather in study or ordinary life;
and say sorry to people who may be hurt by me unintentionally.

I have a lot of stories and thought want to share.
However, the time goes by so quickly; I can't even see it's shadow~
God, could you offer me more time?

I cherish the time we spend together, but...
Life is always tough and unpredictable.
7 days later, I will go to Copenhagen to finish my final study.
7 weeks later, I may fly back to Taiwan directly~

My friends, I will miss you in the future, and thanks for everything you do for me.
Maybe, our stories will continue around the world, if we can share messages to each others.

May God bless you, and happiness will accompany you forever.
